Posted

The Stone Ridge Library will host a two-part “Cabin Fever Cure” program, 1-4 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at the Marbletown Community Center, 3564 Main St., Stone Ridge. The first discussion, taking place from 1-2:30 p.m., will feature horticulturists, garden designers, and artists Allyson and Scott Levy of Hortus Conclusus Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, with a slide-illustrated talk titled “Unusual Ornamentals and Edibles in the American Garden.” At 3 p.m., Grai St. Clair Rice of Honeybee Lives will present, “Honeybees in the Garden: A Dance with Evolution.” Grai will share about how honeybees forage and which plants are beneficial for honeybees and other pollinators. If planning on attending both talks, participants may want to bring a bag lunch; the library will provide beverages.
